1. Vitamin booster.
Skiing and sunbathing – a dream for your immune system. Not only do you treat your body to exercise in the fresh air, but you also pamper it with an extra portion of vitamin D. Good moods are guaranteed here.
2. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
There is still snow in the Bad Kleinkirchheim skiing area. Thanks to the abundant snowfall in Carinthia over the past months, skiing fun is far from over. Don’t you think so? Then take a look on our webcams. And who knows, maybe Mother Hulda will drop by again during the Easter holidays – it wouldn’t be the first time!
3. Goodbye to cold toes.
During the night, temperatures still drop low enough to let the snow freeze. But during the day we enjoy warm sunshine and mild spring weather on the slopes. Best of all, you don’t have to look like a winter onion anymore and can leave a few layers at home. And you can finally do without your gloves or ski boot heating.
4. The early bird gets the best slope.
Getting up early is definitely worth it, because early birds are rewarded with perfectly groomed slopes. So that you can make the most of every minute in the skiing area Bad Kleinkirchheim, our lifts open as early as 8.30 am.
5. Clear the way!
The holiday season is over and many are already in the middle of planning their summer vacations. And in the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area? There you will find exactly those winter sports enthusiasts in thin jumpers, with sunglasses on their noses and a big grin on their faces, making their turns on the extensive slopes. Sounds just like the end of winter you're looking for? With a bit of luck, the first track in the morning will be yours alone.
6. Get your owl face on.
Who doesn’t know it, the famous skier’s tan? For a sun-filled break between runs, numerous sun loungers are waiting for you in the skiing area – for example at the mountain stations of the Spitzeck- and Strohsackbahn or at the valley stations of the Mulden- and the Priedröflift. Important: Don’t forget your sun cream!
7. Firn gliding at its finest.
When the cover of snow, which has been frozen over several times, is thawed by the sun’s rays in the morning, the famous firn is formed. You can expect a shiny, butter-soft carpet of snow with a slightly crunchy surface that makes you feel like you’re skiing on clouds. But take note: The right time for the perfect firn run passes quickly. You’ll need a bit of luck and to be in the right place at the right time to not miss your chance.
8. Sunkissed at lunch.
The Kaiserschmarren at lunchtime taste even better on the sun terrace. Plus, the midday sun gives you a real energy boost for the rest of the hours on the slopes. You’ve more than earned it.
9. Shorter waiting time.
Let's be honest: Most skiers hit the slopes between December and February. This means that their skis have to wait a whole nine months in the dark cellar for their next use! However, if you take advantage of the season until April, you can shorten the long wait until the next winter by two months! ;-)
10. Ski and save.
As a very special treat, you can benefit from our sun & ski offer until 01 April 2024 (when staying in one of the partner establishments): For a ski pass of 3 days or more, you get a 30% discount on the valid ski pass rate and also a 4-hour admission to the Thermal Römerbad.
