1. Collect kilometres on the slopes.
With over 100 kilometres of slopes, Bad Kleinkirchheim offers boundless fun, no matter what level you’re at. The blue slope sections are sure to be especially fun for you and your family. Complete beginners and those unsteady on their skis can race here for the first time, while experienced skiers can test themselves against the final opponent, the World Cup downhill run. 2. Time to really get stuck in: snowtubing & skidooing.
Going on two skis isn’t the only way to head down the mountain. Snowtubing at the Ottinger conveyor lift is a great way to get your head spinning with the help of some tyres. Or simply hop on and whizz off on our action-packed skidooing tours at the valley station of Biosphärenparkbahn Brunnach, every Tuesday from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Together, your family will discover a slightly different way of travelling on the mountain and a new highlight for everyone to enjoy!
3. Skiing in the spotlight.
On Thursday evenings, all spotlights are on you! That’s when night skiing at the Sonnleitenlift is on the programme. You’ll feel like a skiing star, whizzing down the slope in the floodlights. It’ll already be dark when it’s time to head back in again – just the thing for all the late risers in the family!
4. Test yourself against the best.
Timer, timer on the wall, who is the fastest of them all? Want to feel like a real skiing pro? Then try out the timed race course at the panorama lift. Here, you can go up against the whole family to see which of you can achieve the best time – fun and thrills guaranteed!
5. Keep the good times coming with the Kidsslope and Funline.
Our Kidsslope and Funline promise plenty of fun and games. While the Kidsslope with its playful figures and obstacles is a highlight for the littlest of skiers, the Funline with its waves, curves and jumps provides that extra kick of adventure for the more daring family members.
6. Get a taste for freestyle.
If you want to go one better with your family, you can test your freestyle skills at the Snowpark at the Spitzeckbahn. Both beginners and advanced skiers can try out small jumps and boxes and gain their first freestyle experience. You never know, any one of them could turn into a professional some day. Have a go!
7. Learn from the professionals.
Starting out is always difficult and family conflicts are often part of the routine. We say ditch the routine and learn how to ski from the professionals. You can find professional support at one of our four ski schools in the ski resort. Progress is guaranteed – and there’s no shortage of fun either. We’ve also carved out four practice areas (Bach, Kaiserburg, Nockalm, Brunnach) for practising those first turns in the snow. Here, children and ski beginners learn how to make their first turns and how to use the conveyor belt and platter lift in a safe environment. Making your introduction to skiing child’s play!
8. Have fun and save money.
So that the person in charge of the purse strings can relax too. With our €1 ski pass promotion, you can experience priceless family moments at an affordable rate. If you stay overnight in one of our partner hotels, you’ll get a children’s ski pass for €1 per day for every 6-day adult ski pass purchased! Meaning you can spend more on other winter experiences.

We have 23 ski huts & restaurants offering the perfect respite in case you hit a motivational wall or if you need a little reward to keep you going.
